Deploying an External Service for Chat Operations

To configure the "Widget" chat channel, you need to deploy an external service before beginning channel setup.

For setting up the external on-site chat widget service (on your own servers), a Windows-based server with access to the Creatio system is required.

To deploy the service:

  1. Download the service files from the link:

  1. Extract the archive to a directory on the server, such as C:\WebApp\SalesUpWidgetService.

  1. In the appsettings.json file, configure access to the Creatio system:
    1. Specify the site address through which the service will access the system.
    2. Set up access credentials for the Creatio system using OAuth 2.0:
      • Authorization service address
      • Client ID
      • Client secret
    3. For testing purposes, standard access credentials can be used without OAuth 2.0. However, for security in a production environment, the OAuth 2.0 option is recommended.
    4. In the AllowedOrigins array, configure the addresses of the websites where the widget will be published, and specify the name of the current site for this service, which will be assigned in step 4.e.
